Origin of Blue Requiem

Blue Requiem is a name I chose in 2003 for my personal domain. Today it is a home for my science fiction writings and other resources for those that like to dream of the stars in the sky and the evil in the heart of man and machine here on earth.
What I didn't know when the name came to me is that a year earlier a band named An No Requiem in Japan had recorded a song called Blue Requiem and it was used as the opening track for the anime Samurai Deeper Kyo. Blue Requiem also appears in the lyrics.
